FIELD TRAINING

Health Inspector course students undergo compulsory field training for 6 months in the following areas.

1.PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRES
2.HSC
3.TOWN PANCHAYAT
4.CORPORPORATION & MUNICIPALITY
5.Government Schemes training at Respective institutes

1.PHC (PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRES)

* maternal and child health programme (MCHP)
* Water Control and Chlorination.
* Medical care ( Out Patient block) Department
* Dr.Muthulakshmi Maternity Benefit Scheme
* Birth and Death Registration - maintanance of Registers and submission of periodicals.
* Identification and control of Communicable and Non Communicable Devices
* Identification of Minor ailments
* Disposal of waste management (Colored bins).
* Disposal of sewage water.
* Mosquito Fogging.
* Cleanliness at hotels,Tea shops etc..,

2.HSC (HEALTH SUB CENTRES)

* Maintain Vital Statistics posting register, Maintaining Birth and death registration, detect omission in birth and death during his field visits and take action to register them and create awarness regarding Birth and Death registration.
* Organising School health services including immunization of school childrens.
* Family Planning
* Surveillance of communicable diseases
* Take responsible for mapping high risk areas with specific reference to the natural calamities and epidemic.
* Block level meeting, Medical Camps, Family planning motivation.
* Sanitation of Hospitals and Hotels.
* Other important Health activities.

3.TOWN PANCAYAT

* OHT Chlorination work in villages.
* Visit all noon meal centers (ICDS)/anganwadi centres in his area atleast once in three months and ensures proper sanitation in and around the noon meal centres and also ensure food hygiene.
* Family planning guidelines
* Disposal of waste management (Colored bins).
* Mosquito Fogging.
* Overall sanitation , Leprosy and emergency duty.
* Other important Health Activities

4.CORPORPORATION & MUNICIPALITY

* Filarial clinics and activities
* Mosquito fogging
* Waste water management
* Maintanance of pucca and kutcha houses
* Visit all noon meal centers (ICDS)/Anganwadi centres in his area atleast once in three months and ensures proper sanitation in and around the noon meal centres and also ensure food hygiene. * Sanitation of Hotels
* Waste management (colored bins)
* Organise sanitary measures for Fairs and Festivals in his area.

5.Government Schemes training at Respective institutes

* Oral Health Programs
* Tabacco Control Programs
* Dr.Muthulakshmi Maternity Benefit Scheme
* Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY)
* Revised TB Control Programs
* Maternal Anemia control programs
